This ongoing project is ROWH's version of micro finance loans for women. Our experience is that most families have not a run a small business or probably even owned a bank account, so giving them money to start and run a business was often setting them up for failure. Economic opportunities, especially for women, provide income and are key in empowering families. Often they are missing the father due to HIV/AIDS or were lost in the civil wars. For $150 you can buy a pig to start a group.

At the HOPE Clinic, we offer free treatment and medication for all residents who come looking for help with treatable diseases such as malaria, fevers, headaches, diarrhea, coughs, minor cuts, wounds, and burns. The country’s health indicators are also among the lowest in sub-Saharan African. Preventable diseases - including prenatal and maternal illnesses, malaria and diarrhea take a major toll. We have several Volunteer Opportunities and you can freely choose the best fit for you or your family as you explore ways to serve God and your neighbor. Ministry to the Homeless:. We feed and take basic supplies to the homeless weekly. This involves putting together food baskets for families in need. Buying and filling back-packs with supplies poor kids need to start school as well distributing them. We offer religious services to inmates every third Saturday in King county jails.
