July 8, 2012 · 8:35 pm. Touch words words forgotten. Words to express more than a meaning. The galloping stride of horses. The measured throat song. This nuance of age, sex, color. Eyes locked in hopeless fascination. Where will my words go. When I am gone? And where the world. The dog’s language is a language of scent. Sent over miles and marks of dominance. She twitches her nose and listens. Birdsong is a tongue of tones. Crows call in the darkness of dawn. Robins have a song for rain. Cut out my tongue.

Whiskey, Fiske, and Peter Green | in a sense abroad
https://inasenseabroad.wordpress.com/2009/10/02/whiskey-fiske-and-peter-green
In a sense abroad. Studying abroad in Copenhagen. Whiskey, Fiske, and Peter Green. The city seems dead, deserted. The air is chilled, reminding us that it is autumn after all. Crossing streets becomes easy, finding good-looking bars more difficult. We go into the Viking Bar looking for Mojitos, but find weak drinks and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac playing over the speakers instead. The music excited me, but the bar is empty and the drinks not good enough, so we leave. To TrackBack this entry is:.

Writer’s Desk: Part 2 →. Writer’s Desk: Part 1. March 19, 2012. There are surprises. A few albums I forgot I owned. One is a mix of traditional Irish songs. I remember now I got it on a Christmas morning, along with my first CD player. I played it over and over, mostly because I only owned a few disks at the time. Also, a short EP of Stillwater, a fictional band from the movie. A nice simulation of 70s rock. I uploaded it on my computer right away. So what am I listening to now? When I was younger. Okay,...

Writer’s Desk: Part 1. You are here →. Writer’s Desk: Part 2. March 26, 2012. Hoarding forgotten memories. Paraphernalia of childhood. The old desk is cleaned and out of the room. Strange to sift through drawers and find things that have been kept for reasons I cannot recall. Other objects retain a significance, but in a detached way. I remember, but I forget. Cleaning the neglected desk begins to seem like a crime, as if I were throwing away what belonged to a different person. You are here →. You are c...

Monthly Archives: July 2011. The test may be how good you are. In wind when wind blows through you—. I do to I do. Sparrow saws the last stand of light. As animal paths on the opposite mountain. Ghost into generational tracings. Out of the breeze’s sway a fly knocks. Against a screen in its own summation. Can one touch it? It is too big for touch. In its opening, it closes. In fracture, one that. Can be entered—. One that activates space. And saddles the observer. With names made nameless.
