Once Upon a Time...: Her Royal Spyness (Royal Spyness Mystery, 1) by Rhys Bowen

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Her Royal Spyness (Royal Spyness Mystery, 1) by Rhys Bowen. Would I read this author again:. I've already placed the second book in the series on hold. 1st in a Series. My ridiculously long name is Lady Victoria Georgiana Charlotte Eugenie. Thirty-fourth in line for the throne, I am, as they say, flat broke. When my brother, Binky, cut off my meager allowance, I bolted from Scotland - and my engagement to Fishface (I mean, Prince Siegfried) - for London, where I have:. Another case...

Black Cats n' Broomsticks: Crossroads

http://blackcatsnbroomsticks.blogspot.com/2010/10/crossroads.html

Black Cats n' Broomsticks. A place to organize my Book of Shadows. Aving been without home internet for the spring and summer, my blog(s) were sadly neglected. Work was crazy busy over the summer (all the little munchkins - and their parents - out and about looking for something to do) and only now are we settling down into our regular schedule (which can still get hectic, but nowhere near as bad! Behind the Fairy Tale Page. My reading lists blog [long neglected; will be updated soon]. Once Upon a Time.

Simply...Challenging: About

http://jcreadingchallenges.blogspot.com/p/my-challenge-rules.html

What is Simply.Challenging? In brief, Simply.Challenging. Is my challenge blog. Here, I'm only listing the reading (and 1 writing) challenges I am/have taken part in, as well as book lists for each. My reviews are posted at Goodreads. Yes, it seems weird, but right now, it works for me. ;). Of these "ideals", then, to me, the book has fallen short of it's purpose. However, that is. What I find disagreable or lacking in a book may be just what another reader is searching for or enjoys. At one point (which...

Horticulturally Hopeless: Weather, weather me not!

http://horticulturallyhopeless.blogspot.com/2010/05/weather-weather-me-not.html

Weather, weather me not! I started outside at 8 am (was up at 6:30 for buttercream making - gah! I'm definitely going to need a nap later.) and at that time, it was sunny and warm and nice, with a slight breeze. Oh, what a small hour can make! I managed to get in the sweet woodruff (I planted it around the bricks for the bird bath), the fern, the major clump of lily of the valley, and the lungwort (though she looks a little raggy and might not make it! And I'm most definitely going to need more soil.

Black Cats n' Broomsticks: Me!

http://blackcatsnbroomsticks.blogspot.com/p/me.html

Black Cats n' Broomsticks. A place to organize my Book of Shadows. Oy, does that sound conceited or what? I love cats, books (reading books should be a need, not a want! I'm a romantic and a dreamer; I still believe in love at first sight, true love, soulmates. but I'm also practical. I'm. 30 and (trying to) see this as just another progession in life. I would love to share my life with someone - a mate, a partner, a spouse - but I'm coming to realize that it will happen when the time is right. I tend to...

Horticulturally Hopeless: Dirty Hands!

http://horticulturallyhopeless.blogspot.com/2010/05/dirty-hands.html

Http:/ www.offthemark.com/main.htm. There was a frost warning last night and today, but it got nicer this evening. Thus, I went out and got my hands dirty! Also made a place (with a few bricks) for the bird bath underneath the ash (where the bird feeder lives) in a corner of the shade bed. The plan is to plant around it (something trailing? So it covers the base of the bath. At a certain point in the journey all you can do is laugh.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm single, 30 (eek! O( * *H*aving...

Horticulturally Hopeless: Butterflies...

http://horticulturallyhopeless.blogspot.com/2010/05/butterflies.html

Went for a walk with Charlie (the dog) this afternoon. I should. Have been out planting, but it's suppose to climb to the 20s tomorrow and Sunday, so I put it off until then. There is an old railway line that's been turned into a nice little wooded path, which is where we went. As Charlie sniffed and, ah .watered. everything ;-), I saw 5 (! Butterflies. I think they were (thanks to wiki. Milbert's Tortoiseshell, but my butterfly identification is apparently not up to par. I'm single, 30 (eek! Image: Migr...

Gardening 101 - Year 2. You would think, that after attempting a garden one year, I would be better prepared (or at least trained) for a second year. So far, I've planted Dahlia bulbs, yellow roses (mini), pansies (purple and orangey-yellow), geraniums (red and white), three other types of blubs which I can't for the life of me think of what they are at the moment, and a bleeding heart. I would like to get a strawberry plant (or two) and a rhubarb plant. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm single, 30 (eek!

Thursday, November 19, 2009. Isn't preschool so cute? Owen came home from school so proud of his necklace and his 'American' hat (I think he forgot the Native part). He has the best preschool with a teacher who really knows what works for him. He comes home with great art projects and he's full of songs and letter sounds. I love it there. Ella is so full of love. She will always greet you with a hug and kiss and tell you she loves you. One night while we were. Happy Birthday to Reese. Labels: 10 months o...
