There is something now that is bigger than the urgency to write to just let off steam. Now I feel accountable to a great number of women, who, just like me, have been hurt and are continually hurting. I am here for you, too, just as I feel so strongly that I am not alone now. That death, I realize now, was a prerequisite to this new life.
