Learning to be clay. But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8. Half mar-ouch-athon for adoption. October 23, 2010. Note to self: Preparing your body to run 13.1 miles in one stretch, before you drag it through 13.1 miles in one stretch is a good idea. Common sense? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Learning to be clay. But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8. December 10, 2010. The Lord has me in a fresh place, and it has been a beautiful thing. This may be really confusing, I’ve had a hard time putting it in to words. And I certainly don’t want to miss out on what God could be doing in and through me! Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.

Learning to be clay. But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8. October 30, 2010. So, there I was. Dressed as a paperdoll. Dancing. Nearly lost in the lights, music and sea of people. Some form of happy expression plastered on my face. My mouth spitting out lyrics to songs I’ve heard a million times. But my brain and heart were elsewhere. Kind of blows my mind how radically different we are. So as I stood there on the dance...

Learning to be clay. But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8. February 19, 2011. But I think I actually like my job. It’s not official, so don’t quote me on that. But I haven’t dreaded going lately, and I think that is a step in the right direction. The staying up all night the night before I work nights is a bit less than pleasant. I mean who enjoys staying up for 24 hours? This really is a predicament! 8211;Wheeling str...

Learning to be clay. But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8. Interview pt. 1. November 16, 2010. I have my outfit picked out or rather borrowed, and I’m pretty sure I can find someone to slap some makeup on my face in the morning. Now, it’s just for waiting and maybe looking over some of those interview questions. I have no idea what I’m doing, so hopefully I can do a good job of faking it! November 13, 2010. I really li...

Learning to be clay. But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8. October 22, 2011. 8220;I NEED HELP IN HERE! 8221; The words rang from the room next door. 8221; echoes through the room. By this point my pod mate RN is plowing into the room with a crash cart. I hand off the ambu bag, rip open pacer pads and adhere him to his chest. Wow I finally was able to take a breath. That. Was. Unexpected. An exciting night by ER nursing...
