A journal of our family life. Friday, January 25, 2013. Someone Wants To Learn. It's times like these that I wish our budget included some extra curricular activities for the little ones. Olivia got a ballet necklace and book from Santa for Christmas and I caught her practicing. She is literally teaching herself the steps! Hopefully by summer we'll have some extra funds to put in her a class, but watching her do this just broke my heart. I guess she really wants to learn. February 15, 2013 at 9:40 PM.

A journal of our family life. Thursday, January 24, 2013. Birmingham has an awesome art museum! And even more exciting than the beautiful pictures and Wedgwood collection is the children's department. Two rooms full of great activities. We went and spent 2 hours just in the kid section. There are all sorts of manipulatives that the kids can stack, build, create. Two gigantic smart boards with the ability to email pictures to your account. There is a light table, a water calligraphy table, chalkboards, etc.

I've missed the last 2 years due to cold weather and little ones so I was really glad that we were able to come out as a family and support something I strongly believe in. And every week I was disappointed by it's cliff hanging ending. It took me 3 years to finally say, "Enough! So I found it at my local library only it's checked out till the end of January. It is about 3 hours from my place to Chelsea where I was staying. There is a time change in the middle of that does some strange things to the internal clock. Monday, July 11, 2011. I found this pic in a box of old letters. It is from Akron, Ohio. I was 5. I loved that princess hat. I even still have it. You can't tell here but the hat was/is bright blue with a lighter blue and sparkly silver streamer. I rear ended the guy in front of me as we both stopped short for a red light. Thank goodness for insurance, we (parents) only had to cover $500 of the $3499 repair costs. Monday, September 20, 2010. Summer quarter is finally over. I passed both of my classes, Bio 2114 and Soc 1101 with an A. I made 100% on both the finals. With the extra credit offered in Bio I actually finished the class with a 101.95%. I still hold a 4.0 GPA for now. Sunday, September 5, 2010. PFC Jonathan P. Landon. Saturday, January 29, 2011. This is my new fishie. His name is Toothless. Which is a joke because bettas actually have teeth. They are interesting little boogers. Along with their gills bettas have an organ called a Labyrinth that allows them to actually breath atmospheric O2.
