Install is much better than before. First run of the service (according to the logs), detects 64-bit OS, and swaps out the SqlLite DLLs. Nice. Still get crash when the service starts. After 5th round-trip to Gateway to repair the machine with an intermittent failing DVD drive, it's missing from the system again. Have installed Win7 to see if that's any better. Nope - within the first 5 mins, already see errors in the System event viewer about cdrom failing to start, iaStor timeouts, etc. Looking for an answer:. From Sony (warns of not working on OEM machines).
