A brief description of my life. Sunday, October 11, 2009. Why isn't Puerto Rico a state when Hawaii is? What is the most important thing that everything is based on in this world? Why do we say "a lie" and "the truth"? Why do we park in a drvieway and drive in a parkway? How do we know atoms exist if we have never seen them before? Why do people use cigarettes when it says on the cover something along the lines of "these might kill you". Why do people only use DVDs instead of VHS when DVDs get scratched?

Thursday, August 27, 2009. It's been a while. I know. I've actually been working on a post but can't quite figure out the point I'm trying to make so it's on the back burner for a little bit. Sad when that happens. (Especially when it's not infrequent). Today I bought apple pears at Costco. Have you had those? Tomatoes (yes, I do know that's a fruit). Apple pears (try them! Saturday, December 19, 2009. Record Snowfall in DC. I just read about the snow storm in DC and it brought up a memory that I am going to share. Ready? That's a long time ago. I was pregnant with Lindsey and Daniel was interviewing at USUHS and Georgetown medical schools. I flew out to meet him and check out the area (and although obviously with hindsight- I remember thinking then that that's where we would go to school. That's my Grandma Groberg in me). Anyway, back to the story. I'm still remembering...

A brief description of my life. Friday, June 26, 2009. I am super excited for the next Harry Potter to come out. I hope it is really good since it has been being worked on for more than 2 years. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting. And it is finally here. or will be here very soon! Good I am surprised that it was rated PG, not PG-13, because it looks pretty scary. Here is the trailer. I especially look forward to all the drama between boys and girls, especially when love potions become involved.
