Lordy, Lordy, I'm Well Past 40. but still FABULOUS! The single girl's guide to approaching middle age with verve, humor and elan! Sunday, January 20, 2013. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I am a book nerd. I own this. As my sister says, I devour books. I could be content reading books 24/7. It's a Young Adult book, so it's a quick and easy read. What a great book! This is the song that I woke my boys up to the last day of school their entire school career. One of the boys called me on my last day of teaching and sang it back to me. This is the day that "they" waited for. School is out for a couple of months. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Tips for Doing City Photography from Above. She was totally worn out from being drug through the mud. Many prayers went up during this time for some divine intervention. Thursday, March 12, 2015. Building for the Glory of God. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Monday, February 23, 2015. Although this is my second year to be retired from teaching, I still get excited about a SNOW DAY. Last night I watched the weather and the school closings with four of the grandchildren in anticipation. Even during the night when I would wake up, I would listen for sleet. I am excited for all my teacher friends and grandchildren that this affects. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Tips for Doing City Photography from Above.

Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Lets Go Racing - Nascar. Our view from the suite! We got up Sunday, packed up, and came home. Another great race week went down on the calendar. I started the Easter weekend off by writing a "to-do" list of the many things that Rick and I wanted to accomplish this holiday weekend, including both work and fun. Here are the highlights in no particular order, with a few other happenings thrown in. Bricks and dirt moved from the trees in the backyard. Garden planted and yard mowed.

Monday, June 1, 2015. Memorial Day Weekend 2015. Row, Row, Row your Boat.or Water, Water, Everywhere. That could be our theme song or our slogan. Not because we are on a lake, but because we have been flooded with rain for the past 13 weeks. We are officially SOAKED! On Monday, we did make it to the spillway and drove some of the other roads around to see the water. We then went to Brandi's for a fish fry with his girls. This was a great ending for a holiday weekend. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
