Then there wes a band known as “the artists formerly known as Metallica.” They did crap albums like “Load” and Re- load”. The less said about them the better! Luckily they released “Death Magnetic” (about 15 years too late) so there may still be some hope for them but they will never be as great as they used to be! Feed You can leave a response. REAL metal vids that I dig alot! Monday, September 14, 2009. Slayer - Raining blood. Reign in blood" was (and still is) the greatest thrash metal album of all time. Metallica. S first 3 albums were great too, but they sold out. I don't care what anybody says. Load, ReLoad and everything up to an including St Anger just plain sucked! I haven't been to partial to the latest couple of Slayer albums, but at least they stuck to their guns and didn't try to change their sound for mass commercial appeal!
