GRANDMA CHICO: May 2011
http://grandmachico.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Where most things have gone to the dogs. Sunday, May 8, 2011. MOTHERS DAY - 2011. As a mother who comforts her child, so will I comfort you. Isaiah 66:15. Even though Mother's Day does not have any spiritual significance attached to it, we should still remember the blessings of a Godly mother. Is your mother still alive? How long has it been since you found time to visit with her? Today pay a visit to your mother or if the distance is too great, give her a call on the phone. NO ONE KNOWS THE WORK IT TAKES.

GRANDMA CHICO: November 2008
http://grandmachico.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Where most things have gone to the dogs. Friday, November 28, 2008. On Thanksgiving Day there is really no time to blog! So - we will have a Post-Thanksgiving post and carry on from there. The day dawned bright and early (well, I think 8AM is bright and early) and the first thing was to get Tom the Turkey into the oven. Then it was out to the greenhouse to dig some fresh potatoes and get them into the pot. Now the vegies - and O my- it is 9:40 and church starts in 20 minutes! Mashed potatoes and gravy.

GRANDMA CHICO: I LOVE TO CROCHET!!
http://grandmachico.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-love-to-crochet.html
Where most things have gone to the dogs. Sunday, January 3, 2010. I LOVE TO CROCHET! Crocheting is such a relaxing thing to do! You can crochet for 10 minutes or 1 hour and lay it down and pick it right up and continue! I learned to crochet at a very early age. My Aunt Liz (Sizzie when we were little) spent a lot of her time doing crafty things. She was a spinster or old maid or whatever the politically correct term is! There was enough in there to make this afghan and I finished it in about a month.

Mom knew that this was coming and she had almost everything arranged as to how she wanted things to be at her funeral. We also knew about all of this so we had very few decisions to make. That was wonderful and it is also comforting to know that we did things the way that she would have wanted things to be. March 15, 2010 at 12:19 PM. I miss ...

GRANDMA CHICO: April 2010
http://grandmachico.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Where most things have gone to the dogs. Saturday, April 3, 2010. I cannot take credit for either of these pictures since I did not bring my camera with me today. I should learn that the camera bag goes with me just as my purse goes with me, but alas. The sky was filled with them but not quite as many up there as were on the ground and the ground looked just like the picture above. WHITE! She laughed but EUWWWWWW! Next time bring the camera, Dee!
