Any guesses on how the 13 miler went today and how I'm feeling about it? In three words- it wasn't pretty. I guess I just wasn't feelin. It this week. Amazing how it varies from one week to the next. Well, frankly, because I'm just not in the mood. My sister Syd and I have decided upon the Mt. Rushmore half marathon in October- providential because of its timing (in the fall and on a Saturday, no less) and the fact that I served half my mission there. We're calling on all friends, family, and slight acquaintances to join us!

Really running a marathon. A place for posted progress. Monday, September 7, 2009. This Saturday, Dave and I got a babysitter. Then we went on a date: an eight mile run. We got uninterrupted alone time (if you don't count Deacon), had some lovely chats, burned calories, and didn't have to spend money on overpriced theater popcorn.
