The Life and Times of a (Trainee) Geologist. Thursday, 31 October 2013. Today we examined our cores that we collected on the 22nd of October. We were split into two groups, and the group that I am in were given Core 2 Drill 1 and Core 2 Drill 2. Core 2 Drill 1 goes from 0cm depth to 64cm depth and Core 2 Drill 2 goes from 50cm depth to 150cm depth, meaning that there is a 14cm overlap. Tuesday, 29 October 2013.
