Peru and Machu Picchu. Return to Jim's Home page. Courtyard of the Amauta Spanish School that I attended. It is an excellent Dutch-owned chain of schools in exotic places. Some students live at the school, others in the homes of local families. I stayed with an architect. His wife is a hospital administrator. Their 20 year old daughter keeps house.

The House at Ecojoya. The house on the Ecojoya farm. The vines growning on the house yield fruit. Hot water comes from a simple solar device on the roof. I offered to spend some time helping with the websites of this experminental sustainable farm located in the coastal range of mountains south of San Isidro de El General in southern Costa Rica. Dulce feeds two generations of chicks that were hatched in an incurbator. Papaya trees grow next to the house. A fruit picker sits beside it. Front of the house.
