What's going on in the life of Andy, Kelley, Lucas and Jack. Two Wild and Crazy Guys…or brothers. I love these two boys. They wear me out sometimes…but they are hilarious! I never realized how much I truly love spring until this year. Having two boys who love to be outside makes me just yearn for warmer weather. We have had a very MILD March…with snow on Saturday…of course. But it’s been fun! We also went to The Playhouse a lot! Andy got my old iphone and took some pictures of Jack so I knew he was ok!

Lucas played outside every day this week at school and home. So much he slept almost 13 hours last night and took a 3.5 hour nap Friday night and Saturday! Pretty sure that will never happen again! It has been COLD in Boone.and when I say cold, I mean high of -3 kind of cold. So what do we do? We play cowboy and robbers. We wrestle. We find ANYTHING we can since it’s too cold to go out! 😉 Having two boys is too much fun! What's going on in the life of Andy, Kelley, Lucas and Jack. Tubes, Biting, and Spring…Oh My! Tubes were a success! Then it took about 5 minutes before the nurse called us back! I was VERY surprised! When Lucas had both sets, they took his adenoids and then had to look at them again…so it took a little bit longer. I was amazed! He woke about an hour later when we were driving into Boone and he was a HAPPY kid! Sleep is still not where it was…so I am trying to get this in balance! Spring is FINALLY here!

What's going on in the life of Andy, Kelley, Lucas and Jack. So we took it. When we saw Dr. McGuirt in Winston-Salem, and explained things, he said he does need tubes as soon as possible. He would put “urgent” by his name so that on Monday the scheduler would make sure to get him in this week. He also gave him a steroid to take to try to help a little bit too. We were very thankful! Sunday, January 31, 2010. The winter months bring about especially dry cuticles. No amount of lotion seems to work. For a quick fix; before bedtime take a cotton swab and dip into a bit of castor oil. Apply the swab of oil around each cuticle and watch them look better. The first time I tried this I poured castor oil on my hands and worked it into the cuticles; it was a sticky mess. The cotton swab does the trick in seconds! Links to this post.
