Rebecca has taught in Appalachian State University’s Rhetoric and Composition Program, and worked for a private nonprofit agency providing shelter and support services for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. Prior to that she served three different Lutheran pastorates. She holds a BA from Wittenberg University, an MDiv from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. She lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
