My Thoughts from the Heart. Sunday, July 25, 2010. These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things. The "Sound of Music" is one of my favorite movies - the songs, the dancing, and the scenery. Who couldn't fall in love with Maria, The Captain and all of those adorable children. Such a classic! This show made you sing along and explore the Hills along with them - running and laughing! The Smell of Fresh Cut Grass and Rain. A long walk along the ocean, digging my toes into the sand. The Sweet Smell of Garden Flowers.

I heard a very good message today in church, one I have had heard before, but sometimes we need to hear things over and over again until it sinks in. The Pastor started off by asking us if we were living the Good Life, and he said if we weren't it was our fault, and he was right. You know the saying "Death and Life are in the Power of the Tongue" or "From the Abundance of the Heart the Mouth Speaks"? I look so fat!
