I think we have all experienced car problems in one way or another. This week, I’d like to share with you a special time when God intervened during mine. The Lord will bea stronghold in times of trouble. 8211; Psalm 9:9. After eating lunch at a nearby restaurant, I jumped in my car, turned the key , but the engine did not start. Uh oh, I need to get to the library and return to work. I went back inside and asked if anyone had jumper cables. Sorry Ma’am, No. My car battery died. Do you have jumper cables?

I use watercolor to paint a soft multicolored rainbow of skin tones, exaggerating the colors that disappear into the skin. The bright blues, greens, purples, and oranges, are painted to bring out the details that distinguish the fashion of an era, as well as the individual beauty of each woman. My paintings examine taste, fashion, and style though the subtleties of the jewelry, fabric, and make-up.
