http://livinginthemoment27.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 20, 2014. Spring is in the Air. I can't believe how quickly this year is going by. Today is officially the first day of Spring! This Spring I am going to focus on two of my favorite things: Running and Yoga. I have been practicing yoga for a few years now, but I haven't really made it apart of my life here in Colorado. This week I finally picked a class and went. I am so happy to finally get out my yoga mat and head back to yoga class. What are your favorite Spring fitness activities?

Consuming Parenthood: A Birthday Party to Celebrate a Year of Firsts!
http://consumingparenthood.blogspot.com/2014/03/a-birthday-party-to-celebrate-year-of.html
March 29, 2014. A Birthday Party to Celebrate a Year of Firsts! After much debate about where to throw Emilia's first birthday party, we wound up hosting it at home. By the time I began planning all affordable venues were rented and the only ones that remained were astronomically priced (in my opinion). So at home, it was! Our house is pretty small and the layout isn't super conducive to a kid party but it was a house crowded with love which is the best kind of "problem.". My mom also made cookies and my...

Consuming Parenthood: December 2012
http://consumingparenthood.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
December 20, 2012. Pregnancy and my body: gains and losses. Over the course of my 39 weeks of pregnancy I gained 33 lbs. The weight distributed all over my body but of course concentrated most in my stomach. The total was more than I had hoped to gain because I didn't start off especially small. But I followed my body's cues with regard to eating and tried my best to eat healthily. Which gives me much more intense support. The other major body change is my bust. I am still trying to find supportive n...

October 22, 2013. I've settled into the semester and although I am spent, things are mostly good. I am so proud to share that Chris has submitted his dissertation draft! In all likelihood, we will have both finished our doctoral degrees before Emilia turns 1. I almost can't believe it! I will say that I am tired. Maybe that is to be expected?
