Thursday, March 31, 2005. Farewell to a postdoc. Finally did my taxes today. If I waited till I come back from the meeting it would be cutting it way too close, and messing with the IRS is never a good thing. Posted by La Nuage at 12:10 AM. Posted by La Nuage at 12:04 AM. Thursday, July 28, 2005. Posted by La Nuage at 6:34 PM. Posted by La Nuage at 6:26 PM. Wednesday, July 27, 2005. Your Birthdate: October 28. Your birth on the 28th day of the month (1 energy) adds a tone of independence and extra energy to your Life Path. The number 1 energy suggest more executive ability and leadership qualities than you path may have indicated. A birthday on the 28th of any month gives greater will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. Today I love the f...

Tuesday, May 23, 2006. Went to watch the movie on Sunday after service. Didn't like it at all. There are certain parts that the movie is not being faithful to the book, and many parts being totally confusing. Well, I heard that the movie was only rated 2 stars. Overall, we had prepared alot for the launch of the movie, by having many seminars on the truth behind it. IMO, the movie is a flop. Which made our preparations for this seemed almost unneccessary. Posted by YingSoon @ 10:54 pm. I was reminded tha...

Friday, March 31, 2006. When I reach the place where I usually parked, the car park was full, which was very unusual. Where did all the cars come from? My 1st reaction when I reached was "Hmm, did I get the wrong room? I thought it was 305. I proceeded 1 level down to 205. Same. Dark and locked. Called them again. I think Steven was confused also. He thought 205 was 305. Well, went back to 305 and saw that the lights were on. Didn't I just went there and the lights were of...Nevermind. I just cooly w...

Sunday, November 27, 2005. After the meeting, while packing up, YF said she wanted to talk to the unit about something important& asked me to hurry up. Well, I half-expected that they wanted to celebrate my birthday. However, when she said there was some restructuring going to take place, i was like. Well, here's how the conversation goes (according to my memory). YF: As you know, we are going to have a restructuring. YF: I sent out an email. YF: You didn't receive my email meh? Through this, I realised ...

Monday, July 12, 2004. My allergies have been acting up. Possibly related to Momo's reassuming his position as pillow cat. Good thing I am going to see the Allergist tomorrow morning. We'll see what he says. I finally got my annual report done. Now I just have to send it to Deanna tomorrow. Went for a run up royal oka to nohl ranch and then back home. Was only seven miles but it took its toll on me. My calves and quads are sore today, and I haven't been sore since my last race. Wednesday, July 07, 2004.

The Scientist Life: September 2005

Friday, September 30, 2005. All that discussion of food with Deb and Jill has got me thinking about the LA county fair. And I love the animals! Was almost tempted to go into the petting zoo, where they had the cutest little donkey. Though I have to admit I don't see the point of showing rabbits and chickens. And the pig races! I thought the little piglets would just meander around but they really know how to race! Posted by La Nuage at 12:02 AM. Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Sunday, September 25, 2005.
