Rebecca's Needle Niche

Odds and Ends by Tams Creations. Friday, May 17, 2013. Wow, it has been a while since my last post! I have been diligently stitching on many different things. My favorite of the moment is SL Spot Motif Sampler. I have completed the outline along the top of the pattern and am now going backwards filling it in. Such a relaxing stitch over one tented on 40 ct. Having the outlining done makes it much more enjoyable. My much needed UFOs over the years will start to see the light of day after the group is final.

http://rebeccaneedleniche.blogspot.com/2013/01/spot-motif-circa-1640.html

Odds and Ends by Tams Creations. Monday, January 14, 2013. Spot Motif circa 1640. I have managed to get a little more done on my Scarlet Letter piece Spot Motif circa 1640. I started this piece just for Nicola's Scarlet Letter Year. I love it! I hope to devote more time to my SL stitching after March 1st- I have three SALs (RMT, Window, and Ring in the New) that should be done by then, so Rebecca Cullin is highest on my list then! Posted by Rebecca in TN. Labels: Scarlet Letter Year. WIPs finished in 2013.

Rebecca's Needle Niche: Audiobooks

http://rebeccaneedleniche.blogspot.com/p/audiobooks.html

Odds and Ends by Tams Creations. I have found that listening to Audiobooks while cross stitching is very relaxing. It is much easier to stitch while listening to a book than watching tv. I still watch tv occasionally, but if I am working on something complicated, there is much less frogging involved with an audiobook. I thought I would start keeping track of all the books I have been listening to this year. I buy all my books at audible.com. 1- The Shadow Rising- Robert Jordan. 13- Room- Emma Donoghue.

tangled threads: April 2008

http://kizmetkitten.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Going to bed as my friend Daniel signed on. Was worth it, even if it did mean my head hit the pillow at 2am. Remember I do that stitching thing? 1) How do you hold your fabric? My lowery stand, or I lean the hoop or frame on a table if I'm not at home. Yep Occasionally floss will taste TERRIBLE but not often. 3) How do you thread your needle? Lick the end and thread it. 4) What needle do you like best? 5) Are you a needle loser? Not if I can help it! 7) Bobbins or floss bags?

http://stitchingniche.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

A place to show what's going on in my stitching life. Saturday, February 23, 2013. Gosh, it's been a long time since I updated this blog but I have been stitching, honest! The fabric is an overdye from Silkweaver and I've no idea what the color is, I think it was one of their solos. It's very difficult to get an accurate picture of the colors but this one is close. I've also got Grasshopper Pie and Cherries Jubilee in my stash and I believe the designer has more like this in the works. I'm a mother to tw...

About 10 days ago I received an email from Yiota about her kits that she does. Yiota runs her own small online cross stitch business and asked if I would like to review one of her kits, free of charge. After this experience with Yiota, her website and the kit itself I will definitely be keeping my eye on her site in future and wo...
