Thursday, April 2, 2009. What a beautiful display of fruits and vegetables being sold from a boat. All up and down the Parana river are old abandoned ships. I guess anywhere you go one would see the beautiful and the not so beautiful. The Barrio of Boca is home to the soccer team Boca Juniors and is where Tango was first cooked up a century ago. We went on a little tour of the gardens and was provided a map of a few of the trees that are native to Argentina. There were 13 trees and most were trees found in the rainforests and they were all quite beautiful trees. The first tree (our favorite. Going back to Cali. Sunday, August 14, 2011. We've been having a blast this Summer. Last month we took a trip to Sesame Place. In Pennsylvania. Madeline had the chance to hug all of her favorite characters. She had a good time chatting with Cookie Monster during breakfast. And of course, seeing Elmo was definitely a highlight for her. Oscar the Grouch.well.I think her expressions says it all. After all, he is kinda grouchy. There were fun cupcakes to enjoy! Water sprinklers to run through.

So, I decided this year I would throw a surprise party for him during a month that wasn't even his birthday. We had a blast. Charles was a good sport. Adam and his friend Sophie came to visit. They were so much fun. We loved the way they enjoyed the city. They made every minute count.and even survived the craziness of Manhattan on St. Patricks Day. An then on to the seals. Madeline really liked this horse named Beauty. The driver was really nice and let her feed Beauty some carrots. (We had a lot of time to pet her because daddy had to run to an ATM.). Not only look at some farm animals, or in this case, BE farm animals. But you can also get your face painted. (Madeline chose flower-power.).
