Monday, August 29, 2011. A Dinoriffic Day at the Zoo. This summer the Hogle Zoo here in Utah has hosted a collection of awesome robotic dinosaurs. Because my children are rather obsessed with dinosaurs, particularly the male child, we have gone several times. It is their last week, though, and Angus is mourning. So today, despite the warm weather, we hit the zoo for our last encounter with the incredibly realistic robot dinos. They have dinosaur-related teaching exhibits throughout the park, as well.

Then I sent the kids on a scavenger hunt to find household items, and we tested them with our magnets, which taught us even more about magnetism and what magnets do and do not attract. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Off to Snowbird for a fun day at Oktoberfest! Brats and Beer.he is happy. A little girl fell while climbing up the ladder behind Rowan and was crying. Rowan climbed back down and sat next to her and put his hand on her shoulder and said "hugs".such a sweet boy. On the ski lift to the top of the mountain. 1 more year and he can try skiing.
