Adventures in Paradise: Message from the future
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2014/07/message-from-future.html
Sunday, July 20, 2014. Message from the future. Because of the logistics of chartering, it has been quite difficult to keep up with the blog. We're already three days into our BVI adventure and I haven't even published a post about sailing class! We're doing great. Having fun. Pictures will follow. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We Have A Photo Album! Message from the future. Chris Hailey's Pictures of Ft. Leahi. News From The Honolulu Advertiser. Hawai`i Surf Session Report.

Adventures in Paradise: Thoughts on High School
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2009/06/thoughts-on-high-school.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Thoughts on High School. This week Liz graduated High School. It was a week of family and friends, of parties and ceremonies, of looking forward and looking back. It was a week of speeches full of youthful earnestness. Of exhortations to do great things, but to always remember how it all started; here at this school, at this time, with these people. Did we share a table in the cafeteria? Would anyone really go back to high school? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Adventures in Paradise: April 2008
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 24, 2008. Mr Hailey is the first of us to make his airline reservations. And he'll be traveling first class! Right on brah. Start the party before the plane even leaves the ground! Links to this post. Monday, April 21, 2008. By the time we reached the lift after the second run, it was 2:20. The left closed at 3 and there was no other way out of this area, so we had a decision ahead of us: Try for one more run? But he's got a ways to go to catch me at surfing. Hehe. Links to this post.

Adventures in Paradise: January 2008
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Okay, things are in a bit of flux now. I just received email from Amelia saying that she doesn't have any reservations yet for the DHDH in June or July. I've told her to pencil us in for July but I wanted to ping everybody about that first. I'll probably have some major issues with it because of Aaron that I'll have to work through, but that's my problem. How does everyone else feel about it? I really feel that the DHDH offers the best combination of size, location, and price.

Adventures in Paradise: November 2006
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 19, 2006. I had every intention of continuing this blog after the vacation. I had visions of gradually moving it from being ego-centric to discussions of topical issues. Well, that didn't happen. Odd how changing jobs can throw your whole rhythmn off. Yes, I've changed jobs. Again. I actually got the job offer and accepted it while we were in Hawai`i. I'm a consultant now. My current assignment is with a large, pink, cellular provider. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adventures in Paradise: A Farewell to Bob
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2009/07/farewell-to-bob.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. A Farewell to Bob. A small glass of Crown Royal sits in front of me, the amber liquid reflecting memories of a friend I lost this week. With him passes a part of myself. So, here's to 20-year-old Bob. The Bob I met when we were in the Air Force in Hawai`i. An airman of the hard-partying 6002nd. The Bob whose spirit still resides in the Kailua house. Here's to Bar-crawling Bob. The Bob who was once welcomed by name into a Keeaumoku Street bar by the gray-haired Korean propriet...

Adventures in Paradise: August 2008
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 02, 2008. Be a next time. Francine joined us for dinner to celebrate Clay's 60th (in one month). Hao`oli Lä Hänau e bruddah! We convinced her to take Clay's guitar and the smoker for use/storage at her place until we return. We're gradually leaving enough accoutrement of life over here so that eventually we won't have to pack anything. Links to this post. Friday, August 01, 2008. Into the Other Wild Blue Yonder. Adventures in Paradise: May 2008
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 29, 2008. I'm trying my hand at haiku as a way to practice ka `ölelo. So expect to see a verse now and then over there on the side of the page. Translations will probably be inexact because I'm trying to keep the structure in both languages. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Ua nui ke nalu! What was the largest wave you ever rode? We paddled out into big, but not huge. So, what was the largest wave I ever rode? If you're a surfer, you know. Links to this post. Friday, May 23, 2008.

Adventures in Paradise: July 2008
http://bruddahchrispy.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Into the Wild Blue Yonder. Our parasailing boat was waiting for us, engine running, and we were soon motoring out of the boat harbor. Past Kewalo's and Point Panic and heading for deep water. The waves were up and when combined with the hot, winding, bus ride I was feeling a little queasy. I wasn't the only one, as Aaron was starting to look a little green around the gills as well. Links to this post. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Ride Around Mt. Rainier Or Die), and then some kin...
