ADULT and YOUTH ACTIVITIES. Support the Robert Emmet CDP. Without the support of volunteers and helpers we could not continue to operate. Volunteers help provide services on a daily basis. Individual supporters and companies provide the shortfall in funding needed to keep our doors open. Individuals and companies can support us by sharing time, ideas and expertise with us or by contributing financially to the ongoing costs. Make an Online Donation. ADULT and YOUTH ACTIVITIES. Come rain or shine, every Wednesday afternoon since 2007, a group of older women meet up. The women who attend have lived in this community their whole lives as have their parents before them. They share stories, play bingo, give advice and plan and organise outings and events. ADULT and YOUTH ACTIVITIES. Every day afterschool, we collect a group of 18 children from school and bring them back to our centre. Children attend for periods of 5 year or 6 years every day except Wednesday from 2.30 -6pm. The Robert Emmet Community Development Project serves a community of almost 4000 people in the South West Inner City mainly in the area between Thomas Street and the Liffey. We organise programmes for adults and young people ourselves or often we facilitate and support others who approach us seeking to deliver an activity in the community.
