India, Taiwan, Ireland, Europe. Elsewhere in North America. Johannes van den Heuvel was the founder of the Malt Manics collective (he stepped down a couple of years ago over philosophical differences. Over the direction of the group). Malt Madness is his labour of love, and while he hasn’t updated the site in a while, it remains, hands down, the most comprehensive introduction online to malt whisky and the distilleries of Scotland. And the conversation in the comments). Sku’s Recent Eats. I kid, I kid: i...

signde drinks: Maker’s 46 Review
http://signdedrinks.blogspot.com/2015/07/review-97-makers-46.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Maker’s 46 Review. Product which I think is a great buy at $50-$60 a bottle. With standard Maker’s and Maker’s Cask Strength out of the way that leaves just one other product in the brand’s portfolio: Maker’s 46. There isn’t anything special I can say about the backstory on Maker’s 46 that hasn’t already been said numerous times. If you want a more thorough history of the product I suggest you check out Red White and Bourbon’s excellent review here. 47% ABV; No Age Statement; $37.

Epicurean in the ATL. An Atlanta Food and Drink Blog. Monday, July 21, 2014. Atlanta's Best Double-Stack Burgers (Part 3): Gunshow. This burger is Gillespie's take on the "secret" menu item from In-N-Out Burger, the Double-Double Animal Style. This burger came in the midst of a fast-paced meal, so I didn't get a lot of the specifics about sourcing, etc. Perfectly soft and crisp on the cut side, which helps it stand up to the toppings. Standard American, as it should be. 95/100. This burger is downrig...

Don't Drone Me, Bro! Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Because Only We Can Fuck Up The Simple Shit. OK, so it's looking like navy ships and airstrikes against the regime in Syria. but we ain't takin sides, OK? Let's make that clear. This is NOT what I called for. What I called for was a simple administration of extra-judicial justice. We don't need a drone. Single tap to the back of the skull with a .22. It worked on Kennedy's. It will work on Assads, too. This will not end well. They should have listened to me.

Don't Drone Me, Bro! Tuesday, March 26, 2013. I support every person's right to fall short of the expectations of an other, and that 'other's right to be feel let down and to nag accordingly. Marriage ain't 'all that'. Get 'that', and it's an easy conclusion. Links to this post. Monday, March 18, 2013. The whole thing reeks of Baby Industrial Complex, I tell ya.".
