The Fox's Den: 10 Things Every College Student Should Wonder (at least once)
http://the-foxs-den.blogspot.com/2009/01/10-things-every-college-student-should.html
The world and the way it should be. because I can. 10 Things Every College Student Should Wonder (at least once). Well, my last 10 things list went well (I judge by the number of comments. otherwise I don't know if you read it. I like comments. please comment.), so I decided to do another. 10 Is this helping me graduate? 9 Will I ever use this again? 8 What is the meaning of life? 7 Should I quit and just marry some rich guy/girl? 6 Am I in the right major? 5 Is that girl/guy single? A philosopher of sor...

The Fox's Den: May 2009
http://the-foxs-den.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
The world and the way it should be. because I can. Chicken v. Egg. Okay, I'm procrastinating. for those of you who care: get over it. This was originally going to be a longer post, but it really is too simple. What came first, the chicken or the egg? Can we admit that our understanding of a chicken includes that it hatches from an egg? I'm just going to assume we can. That, however, does not answer the question fully. I'm going with the egg. The Fox's Den: November 2008
http://the-foxs-den.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
The world and the way it should be. because I can. So, this past election season and its results have everyone talking about change, but that's not how change actually happens. Sure, things will be a little different, but do you really think that you're going to notice it in your daily life? No, but you might notice the bad economy that will probably cause a lackluster holiday season. Kind of depressing, isn't it? If you want the world to be a better place, then make it a better place. We are all part of...

The Fox's Den: September 2008
http://the-foxs-den.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
The world and the way it should be. because I can. Because you never know. Because you never know…. Well, not so much as it turns out. What goes on in the living world still matters to me. What happens to the people I left behind still makes me happy; it still makes me sad. Things and people still make me feel all kinds of emotions that I always thought were vain concepts of souls trapped in the only form of life that we could understand… Nope, wrong again. You could die… like me. Doing good… Lovin...

The Fox's Den: Answer for the Question
http://the-foxs-den.blogspot.com/2010/01/answer-for-question.html
The world and the way it should be. because I can. Answer for the Question. After thinking about it for a while, I think I have an answer to the question raised in my last post (at least for me):. If you get what you want, then you have absolutely no right to be upset solely on the basis that someone else got something better. Im not sure you can be upset with the giver, but you could probably be upset with yourself for not thinking of the better thing. January 8, 2010 at 9:32 PM. To quote Quentin Crisp:...

The world and the way it should be. because I can. 10 Things You (probably) Shouldn't Buy Used. I saw a list like this somewhere, and I decided to make my own, less serious (but still deadly serious), list. This is partly with the idea that Christmas is coming up but mostly for pure entertainment. 10 Laptop - aren't these things pretty much out of date the day after you buy them new? 9 Light Bulbs - probably already burnt out. I wonder how much I could make on eBay. 4 Software - legality?

The Fox's Den: June 2008
http://the-foxs-den.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
The world and the way it should be. because I can. Nothing philosophical today. I have to save my energy for counseling eleven high school boys for a week starting tomorrow (it's going to be a challenge.). But enough of that. no complaining, no worrying, no philosophizing. Not tonight. there will be plenty of time for that later in life. I mean zapping. oops, I keeps slipping, shame on me. The Executioner is fabulous. it's an electric fly swatter that pops when it sends a jolt of electricity. I can and h...

The world and the way it should be. because I can. I don't really have a deep post. but I have a couple of random complaints. well, something like complaints. Why do teachers/professors thank you when you turn something in? It seems rather silly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A philosopher of sorts who just sees the world clearly and in a different way.
