Navigating Everyday Meal Planning. A collection of everyday meals, notes, recipes and more. July 19, 2012. Lentils with Ham and Rosemary. It is Ham week! Damian requested ham in particular. I think it is rebellion to my many vegetarian main dishes, but, alas, I listened and we have begun Ham week. The first night, I baked a Honey Baked Ham. It turned out alright. I think I will try it again and see if I can make it more tender and juicy as it wasn’t perfect. And who doesn’t think of ham in soups.

Ham and Split Pea Soup. Ham week really only consisted of a few recipes. All of the meals with ham created so many leftovers we only really need a total of four recipes including baking the darn thing to make it a ham week. I love split pea soup, but this version turned out even better. Randomly, I enjoyed how peppery it was.

This is a slow cooker recipe. 3 to 4lb Pot Roast ( Can use any cut, I’ve used Eye of the Round, as well as pot roasts). 1 envelope of dried Onion Soup Mix ( Lipton or similar). 1 Can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup (do NOT dilute). 16 Ozs (2 cups) of Pepsi (do Not use diet). Mix Onion Soup Mix into Mushroom Soup in a large measuring cup, or a bowl. Adding the Cream of Mushroom Soup to onion mix.
