Taylor Family: October 2010

http://www.david-lisa.org/2010_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 25, 2010. We've done a few things to enjoy the beautiful fall weather we've been having. We spent an afternoon at Schwallier's and apparently the apple picking season ended early, so we didn't actually get to pick a bushel (although we did search and find 1! But we did get to enjoy the doughnuts and cider! But there was a hay structure. That Kayla, our little dare devil, loved to climb on and she also enjoyed the slide. She got to pet some barn animals. We love that place! What a fun day!

Taylor Family: Our Story - David

http://www.david-lisa.org/2002/08/our-story-david.html

Thursday, August 1, 2002. Our Story - David. This is all fine, because I know in my mind where I want to go and I'm headed in the right direction. Lisa is a doll and says, isn't Pietro's the other way? So, we met in NYC and had a wonderful time. We went all over, too much to tell here, but we did go to the top of the Twin Towers (9 months before they fell) which was really incredible. We had a great time and Mr. and Mrs. Slighter were great. And you thought Lisa's story was long! How we met - Lisa.

Daddy’s Magic Bar Pie. January 27, 2014. I wanted to make a little treat for Andrew so I dug up this recipe I had put together a few months ago. The impetus really was that I feel sorry for the guy who gives out dates (the fruit) at the Farmers Market. He’s so generous with samples that I wanted to buy a bunch. Hence this recipe! About 10 dates, pitted. About 1 to 1.5 cups of almonds. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. About 4 tablespoons chocolate powder. About 4 tablespoons coconut oil. 1 teaspoon of salt.
