Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Friday night we had our Ward Trunk or Treat. I took my neice and nephews with us. We always have this every year. It usually is a Chili Feed and then the kids do a parade and we hand out candy. It is really fun every year. This year, I couldn't believe how many people were there! Rylee just turned 11. Chicken and White Bean Salsa Soup. November 9, 2014. A healthy and flavorful soup to brighten a blustery day. 5 cups chicken stock. 3 boneless chicken breasts. 2 teaspoons crumbled dried oregano. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 package frozen cut spinach. 2 16-oz. cans great northern beans. 2 quarts roasted salsa verde. Remove chicken from broth and set aside to cool. Add frozen spinach to broth over medium heat and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and add the beans and salsa verde. Makes approximately 5 quarts.
