It's a modified version of this recipe. For "meatball stew.". 1 lb ground turkey - $2 (I used half a pound ($1), and it was fine) original called for frozen meatballs. 3 cups frozen green beans - 50 cents. 2 cups baby carrots - 75 cents. 2 cans stewed tomatoes - $1. Total cost: $4.25 for 8 servings (53 cents per serving). Oct 16th, 2007.
