Thursday, April 2, 2009. Happy 60th Birthday, Grandpa Baisden! Happy, Happy Birthday, Grandpa dear! His mom, Great Grandma Beverly, his two sisters, Carol and Linda, brother-in-law, Carl, and Jeff and Anita all flew up from Utah for the day. That had to have been the best and biggest surprise of all. We had a fabulous dinner and lots of fun. There must have been 30 or so people, all family, there. And cousins galore! Kids everywhere. If you're not use to kids, this definitely. Here's a pretty good pic.

Wednesday, February 13, 2008. We live in a seriously scary world ladies and gentlemen. I have to be completely honest, my faith in the system, that we are in fact "the good guys", has really been shaken to the core. In many ways the saying "ignorance is bliss" is absolutely accurate. When I first heard about the scandals, I can remember saying to myself 'Well, sometimes things like that are necessary". But after hearing about it so much lately, I started delving a little deeper to learn more about it.

I'm not sure what contractor our builder hired to bring in the sod, but all of the houses that were built at the same time on our street have absolutely atrocious.
