Suggestions for light protein treatments? Background reference: My hair has been natural for the past 10 years or so, I don't heat style ever, and I just cut about three inches of split and damaged ends off yesterday. After doing some reading on the intarnets, I feel like protein treatments are the way to go toward correcting some of the damage, but I'm worried that somehow I'll overdo it in the opposite direction and end up with hair that's still dry and crunchy, but in a different way. Im planning a trip to Spain next spring. Id go to Barcelona (used to live there, but havent seen it in almost ten years! And Andalucia. There Id visit Sevilla, Granada, Jerez de la Frontera and its Royal Academy of Equestrian Art,. Ive been to Madrid before and am not particularly interested in going back, but is there anything else I should absolutely not miss? My only restriction (Ill budget once I have a better idea of what I want to do) is I dont have a drivers licence, so no car for me.

Acne is not a huge issue for me per se, but I do have some dark spots on my face that I wouldn't mind removing.
