The Thames Path, a National Trail, passes the front door of the Red Lion. A popular part of our walking heritage, the path comes from Cricklade (about 4 miles) to the west and goes on to Lechlade. The map link shows the path dotted in red. The newly opened path follows the river to the village at Mill Lane and on entering the village, straight ahead into The Street leads to the Red Lion 'Riverside' Pub. The Thames at The Red Lion.
