Sunday, September 28, 2008. What a poor poster I've been! No pictures, no excitement - nothing. And, to continue my trend, I am going to write a few things weighing on my mind. I think I've traumatized Jayce. I am so sick of the upcoming presidential election. For one thing, I'm not impressed with either candidate, so I'm voting for the lesser of two evils (an option I detest! Because I live in a swing state, I'm surrounded by political ads and activists. Please stop trying to convince me! Life is a blur!

Thursday, January 31, 2008. Sleeping Beauty no more? Once upon a time Jer and I finally felt we had a baby that loved to sleep. Alyssa would practically leap from my arms into her crib without a fight. We were thrilled! Jayce has never been a fan of bedtime, and the sleep issue has been a big struggle with him since the beginning. Our daughter, on the other hand, had made us feel as if we had hit the sleep jackpot. Jermito, Melsito and Cinco Banditos. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Spring Break 2010 - Seattle. On the weekend of our Spring Break, we took a quick trip up to Seattle to show the kids some of the sights. The only thing they all said they wanted to do for sure was go up to the top of the Space Needle, so we made that stop number one. We all enjoyed the exhibits and telescopes on the observation deck. Jermito, Melsito and Cinco Banditos. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Bryson loves to play chess. And he's pretty good at it too. His dad has a pretty hard time beating him these days. This year, he went to a local chess tournament in which he won 4 out of 5 of his games and won a 3rd place trophy for his age category. Sunday, December 25, 2011. And to all a good night. The children are all snuggled in their beds wrapped up in their new Christmas jammies. Santa has come to fill our stockings and we are all giddy with anticipation to talk to Brad tomorrow morning. I am truly blessed and grateful for so many things. Sunday, September 23, 2012. Thrifty with a capital "T". I LOVE to shop at D.I. I will be the first to admit that I haven't always loved it. In fact, there was a period of time that I couldn't stand to walk in D.I. (or any thrift store for that matter). I hated the smell, I got nauseated watching little kids play with dirty, grungy, broken toys and I just felt gross! I have changed my tune over the years. It took one great "find" and now I'm hooked! Here is the same picture, but with a little editing.
