To continue - pixels and distance. Sat, Nov. 16th, 2013 11:21 am. One thing I have tried to figure out while pondering is what exactly my critical mass is as far as local people to be social with. If I live with ten people in the middle of nowhere, is that enough? Would we get sick of each other? Is there a difference between people you live with and other friends you can leave the house to hang out with? How many vague acquaintances equal one best bud? What things do I love? What things do I hate? Sun, ...

Gonna get the girl, gonna kill the baddies and save the entire planet! Sep 26th, 2008. It took forever to get through to the ward she was on, it was always engaged. When I finally spoke to a nurse on the ward I was told Mum was settled now and feeling much better. She had some oxygen in the ambulance which helped immensely and has had a chest x-ray which is still pretty inconclusive. More tests are on the cards. Welcome to a world of Pink. MLIA: My Life Is Awesome. MLIA: My Life Is Awesome. So, just a quick catch-up for yall. I live in Burton-on-Trent with my husband, Richard as I moved for a job. I still work for Molson Coors, although not in an Operational role any more - a year after I came down for one job, I was asked to come do another one! I work on the interface between the systems of our partners and us and ad-hoc reporting and spreadsheets (YAY). I drink a lot of gin. I have 34 bottles! 11/9/13 03:40 p...

BJDs - Dont Judge a Goth by their Hair Colour. 10 August 2013 @ 10:43 pm. So a better reference of my dolls! The needs bit is what they currently need, it will probably become redundant that bit. but i know how slowly i work on my dolls and finishing them off. Currently missing 4: Coconut, Lido, Urick and Vlad. (first two are travel buddies, and last two are in pieces for painting). Also only my full dolls, no heads. 3 comments Leave a comment. August wrap-up - pixels and distance. Mon, Sep. 8th, 2014 10:38 pm. The first part of August was pretty busy. But its all been fun stuff. The end of it was more lowkey, with some catching up - cleaning everything, getting photos off my camera and my phone, reading all the everything about #ferguson :/ - plus friends birthday bbqs and some chilling at the lake. The backyard is full of ripe blackberries and tomatoes and life is pretty good. Cow and tiny donkey. This is what it looks like done. I didn't...

Yesterday I went back to work after a week off ( I didn't actually go to Kentwell as planned owing to a complex and annoying set of circumstances that could only have happned to me, including no personal transport, no tent, no money. And even less money). I borrowed the phone in the MDAU to phone work and ask if they had any idea how I was supposed to get back there, Um, No...

The unmistakable sound of racking a Nerf shotgun - E. K. Mangosteen. 27 June 2014 @ 02:12 pm. The unmistakable sound of racking a Nerf shotgun. Since Friday afternoon is typically when the Nerf wars break out around the office, people got to talking about different shooting styles. A couple of people are very much run-and-gun. A couple of people are the snipers. I'm basically okay with that image. 6 comments Leave a comment. On June 27th, 2014 08:58 pm (UTC). On June 27th, 2014 09:19 pm (UTC).

The Life of a Feminist Feline. No, I'll Be Fine! Sep 24th, 2010 at 11:23 PM. Life is a strange thing. So are pavements, and so are ankles. This one looks innocent, doesn't it? A random 30cm of drop, just at the bottom of a flight of stairs, who'd think that'd be a problem? Or a fractured ankle? No, it'll be fine. I've yet to come crashing down (although an impressive attempt at a backwards hop up the top step came close), but any adventure to skirting board height means a near impossible task of hoisting...

PS do you think that having the god knows how many pregnant women using one loo stall because the main bathroom was leaking and dangerous, the fact that "my" consultant with whom I had been planning to discuss my birth plan was MIA so I got Mr Condescension himself instead, and the hour and half wait we all enjoyed this morning might have had something to do with it?
