Y · 2 · S. Weet · B. A Journey with Neonatal Diabetes. On January 21, we checked into the children's hospital and Andy received his first dose of glyburide at 8:00 on Monday, January 22. By noon, he was showing signs that his body was definitely responding to the glyburide. We slowly increased his dose each day and by Wednesday afternoon, Andy was totally insulin free and we disconnected his insulin pump. Tags: babies with diabetes.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Sailing NCL with T1D. We booked all our tours through the ship. It's more expensive this way but we felt it was easiest to make sure we got back in time. And on the dune buggy beach tour the tour guides told us they had first aid training. I'm not sure all the tours had this but it made me feel safer. Monday, March 29, 2010. Instructions for String Easter Basket and Eggs. I was asked to share this fun craft from my previous post. It's very easy to do. Crochet string or yarn. Parchment paper or plastic bags to cover your work space because it's messy. Optional: Glitter and spray glue. Print outs of easter clip art. 1 Blow up balloons. We used tiny ones to make doll sized baskets. 2 Wipe a bit of Pam cooking spray on the balloon to make them a bit slick. 8 Pull out the old balloon leaving a 3d basket/egg.
