What We’d Like to Do. The Animal Care Home. I Learn As I Teach. Feb 6, 2014. By Sumana Kalra I hadn’t quite recovered from the stacks of Diwali cards made painstakingly by hand by our students when the Christmas ones came in! They all made some delicious rhymes with, for example, zeera. Chammach mein chammach, chammach mein zeera, Meri Sumana mam, lakhon mein heera. In no work I have ever done(…). What We’d Like to Do. The Animal Care Home. A major problem we often face in this area is of children who are not given adequate care or attention because of a host of reasons: poverty and attendant tensions in the family, too many siblings, the death of a parent, or the neglect of the girl child in preference over boys.
