the mother load: December 2009
http://addingtonmotherload.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. One of the things I like least about returning from our Christmas vacation in Colorado is saying goodbye to my brother. We live on opposite ends of the country, so we only see each other during those times when we manage to meet in the middle – twice a year at most. I hadn’t expressed this sadness to Will but I think he may be thinking ahead about how he and Owen’s relationship will change as they grow older. 8221; he asked. Sunday, December 27, 2009. Will learned to slow do...

the mother load: The beach in sepia
http://addingtonmotherload.blogspot.com/2010/07/beach-in-sepia.html
Sunday, July 25, 2010. The beach in sepia. Yesterday, we returned from a full week at St. Augustine beach, where we had a pretty wonderful time with Papa and Aunt Alicia and friends. It's kind of a tradition for us now to turn the camera settings to sepia and capture the kids on the beach for a while. Here are a few shots, plus a sand burial and a deck dance with Papa in full color. Looks like the whole family had fun! I like the sepia photos. July 26, 2010 at 12:16 PM. the mother load: September 2010
http://addingtonmotherload.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 2, 2010. A month since my last post - I guess that's testament to the fact that I can't handle teaching four mornings a week and blogging simultaneously. I'm loving my new little gig as a pre-k teacher between that and shuttling Will back and forth to kindergarten each day, I feel busier than ever. First, Will sets out for his first day of kindergarten (where he has settled in happily with a great teacher):. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

the mother load: February 2010
http://addingtonmotherload.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. A shower without the giftwrap. I am always grateful for the time I spend with women at a blessingway-style shower. It's so nice to bond, to hear each other stories, to share some heartfelt appreciation for one another, and maybe even get a little teary-eyed together. Thanks to my friend Tina, now far away in Sweden, for introducing me to the concept. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Time to consign - and bargain shop. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Audio books to the rescue. Last ...

Saturday, November 27, 2010. In no particular order. Due to more technical difficulties, I can't move the pictures for this blog so you get to view them before the script, which I wrote yesterday. And the photos are out of order and before the explanations, but here it is anyway:. Will lost his first tooth and plotted to stay up and "trap the tooth fairy" so that he could see if Rob or I were really the tooth fairy. Thankfully he succumbed to sleep. So the tooth fairy lives! Rob built an elevated fort fo...

Sunday, November 29, 2009. It was a bittersweet Thanksgiving for us as we feasted with Rob's family in Marietta for the first time since losing Rob's mother and grandfather. On the way to our Thanksgiving dinner, Will and Owen and Rob and I talked about all the things we are thankful for - including "Nana and Grandpa in heaven.". Thank you to everyone who sent us photos and memories. Thursday, November 26, 2009. Listen and be grateful. As long as you're pausing to feel real gratitude for your loved ones ...
