Here's one opinion to that question below . I heard it recently, and it got me thinking. I'm still not sure whether its right or not . So, what is knowing good and evil? It couldn't just mean "knowing" in an intellectual sense what good and evil is (because Adam and Eve both knew that it was wrong to eat from the tree). Could it mean "knowing" in the sense of. No, probably not, because how would God experience and participate in evil? So perhaps "knowing" good and evil means knowing in the sense of.

Monday, August 09, 2010. For everything there is a season. 8220;For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:. A time to be born, and a time to die;. A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;. A time to kill, and a time to heal;. A time to break down, and a time to build up;. A time to weep, and a time to laugh;. A time to mourn, and a time to dance;. A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;. A time to seek, and a time to lose;. And in...

Bought With His Blood: March 2009
http://boughtwithhisblood.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Bought With His Blood. Wednesday, March 04, 2009. I was listening to a Mark Driscoll sermon this morning and I heard him recall a conversation with J.I. Packer. Packer was kicked out of his Anglican denomination because he opposed same-sex marriage. He didn't just disapprove of the Anglican shift in considering homosexuality as sinless, he opposed it by calling the Anglican leaders to repentance. So what does "heretic" mean? It means: "a person believing in or practicing religious heresy.". No one likes ...

Bought With His Blood: A Johaninne Study (John 3:9-10)
http://boughtwithhisblood.blogspot.com/2011/02/johaninne-study-john-39-10.html
Bought With His Blood. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. A Johaninne Study (John 3:9-10). Nicodemus said to him, “How can these things be? Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? Nicodemus was shocked at Jesus’ teaching. How can a man be born again? 8221; Nicodemus already knew that people needed spiritual renewal. It was not new teaching that shocked him, but old knowledge. 8221; but Watson answered, “What is Toronto? Jesus is the revelation that Nicodemu...

Bought With His Blood. Monday, September 27, 2010. A Johannine Study (John 1:35-41). The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples,. And he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God! The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking? 8221; And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying? Behold, the Lamb of God! Then, a strange conversation occurs&...

Bought With His Blood. Friday, November 26, 2010. A Johaninne Study (John 2:1-5). 1 On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. 3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” 4 And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”. Why would Jesus rebuke his mother?

Bought With His Blood: October 2010
http://boughtwithhisblood.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Bought With His Blood. Tuesday, October 05, 2010. A Johannine Study (John 1:42). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter). This was not Simon-Peter’s first encounter with Jesus. Prior to the scene by the Sea of Galilee, Andrew introduced them (John 1:35-41). Not much is known about this meeting except that Jesus says to Simon-Peter, “ So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called Cephas. But more sign...
