Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Barrett and I visited a great spot this weekend: Birch and Barley. We sampled a few beers and enjoyed our meal. But that bacon. Wow. So we ordered more and relished the sweet, smoky goodness! Then we learned it was only $3. Cured and and smoked in house, it was one of the best things we have had in DC. Saturday, April 25, 2015. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. The Way, Way Up. Some friends shared their Caps tickets for last nights game. We had a great time, even from the cheap seats! Caps blew a 3-1 lead and the Oilers came back to tie the game 4-4 at the end of regulation. No score in OT and they went to shootouts! Exciting stuff, and the Oilers emerged victorious.
