Another day in paradise. Saturday, May 28, 2011. We made it to summer. I survived the 12 weeks back at work. I will never again have to leave a tiny baby behind while I go off to work - by the time I return, Leah will be 7 months old. It is a little easier for me to leave them when they are older! I'm sad to see the end of another school year (nothing makes the passage of time more apparent than being a teacher and watching the kids move on year after year), but excited for summer fun with my own kids!

Another day in paradise. Monday, January 24, 2011. Ok, so I have to find something that:. Is already in my closet. Doesn't look awful on my 2.5 week post partum body. I can nurse Leah in easily and discreetly multiple times in a public place. Is dressy enough for a funeral. I'm pretty sure the task would be no easier even if I had the money to go buy something. My mom and I were out shopping this weekend and the stores are EMPTY. January is depressing on so many levels. Posted by Kara Hartz.

Another day in paradise. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Netflix streaming with all of the Dora, Wonderpets, and Backyardigans you can imagine. I no longer feel guilty about TV. I beat myself up about the amount of TV Daniel watched when I was home all winter nursing Patrick. Guess what, he's fine. Big shocker there. Seriously, what else was he supposed to do all winter stuck in a crappy apartment in Columbus, Ohio? The crock pot, Little Caesars $5 pizza, and my mommy bringing me food. Posted by Kara Hartz.

Since my new "go with the flow" method started Sunday morning, Patrick has not peed or pooped in his underwear or pull up. Not even once. Not even at night. Posted by Kara Hartz. Monday, December 30, 2013. My Christmas Gift :). After 8 years of marriage, we finally have an adult bedroom set! King size bed, dressers for both of us.I am in heaven! Thanks to my mom and dad for the bedding (it was our Christmas gift) and to my MIL and FIL because their Christmas money went toward our new mattress.
