James and I rented out the gymnastics center for the birthday party. The kids had a blast! There were games, large rope swings, a large trampoline, zip line, bounce house, and free reign to all the gym equipment. I made Weston a dinosaur land cake which was all edible except for the Dino's. It was fun to make.

Together is always the place to be. Thursday, August 14, 2014. Cape Disappointment, Day one. I have had a huge craving for some beach adventure with my family. This year, after doing a little research on cool places to camp on the WA coast, we set up camp at Cape Disappointment. Our neighbors, who have young children of their own, also thought that was a great idea, so they came along for the adventure. The view from the light house. Together is always the place to be. Thursday, August 14, 2014. Day Two at Cape Disappointment. Those cargo ships are huge. Kids enjoyed pointing them out as the fog lifted. It was nap time for half our crew, so James, Wes and a couple of our friends headed down the beach. Love this boy. He is so adventurous. Taking in all the elements, using all his senses. Together is always the place to be. Monday, October 3, 2011. The Taste of Summer. Grows the best blueberries in the. World, I think. Sweet, almost huckle. Berry flavored. We have made many crisps, smoothies, muffins, and pancake topping with blue berries. We really can't get enough. Apricot jam. My favorite. Weston and I fight over this one too, making sure the other person doesn't take the last drop. James, he likes to add pineapple to his apricots. I must admit, I like it too. Alli in Grandpa Clark's.

Knowing my eldest son has a deep love for fishing, I worked extra this summer to give him an early Birthday present. James took Wes charter fishing on the ocean. Together is always the place to be. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Paradise, Mt Rainier. We saved the best for last. There is a reason they call this part of the park Paradise. It is a well known hike where thousands come to take in its beauty. We are all looking a little rough as we hadn't taken a shower in 4 days, but who is looking at us?
