Monday, 2 March 2015. Stubbington - Day 1. Our Stubbington adventure began today! We met this morning in the music room and were surprised by how much luggage the children had:. After managing to squeeze it all on the coach, we set off! When we arrived, we had time to look around and settle into our rooms. It was then time for our first set of activities. Group A built shelters first. We had to work in teams to build a shelter that would protect us from the rain. It was a slow start. Each day we will be ...

http://redlandsyear34.blogspot.com/2015/03/stubbington-day-5.html
Wednesday, 11 March 2015. Stubbington - Day 5. Today was our last day at Stubbington Study Centre. We spent the morning playing the Stubbington fox game - we were foxes and the teachers were farmers. If they caught us they had to put a stamp on our face! Some of us were really sneaky and hid well; others were collecting lots of stamps! Thank you for your comment. Friday, 7 February 2014. Le Stubbinton, c'est fin! The last update of Stubbington 2014. Wow, what a week! We were sad to be leaving this morning but knew we had one last highlight - Stubbington Fox. We were hunted by nasty farmer Parsons and smelly farmer Stubbs. We had to find clues in the conservation area while avoiding getting caught by the farmers and stamped on the face! Well done to Megan and Ellen who won Stubbington Fox. We have some Stubbington experts here to give us their views. Well the smal...

Wednesday, 4 March 2015. Stubbington - Day 3. It's day 3 at Stubbington Study Centre and everyone is a little more rested - all children were asleep by half past nine without any fuss! This morning, Mr Harcombe joined us for the bedroom inspection - we think he was impressed by our tidiness. Well done to kestrels and badgers for winning the most points this morning. Group A's first activity this morning was earthquake - this is the one we have all been waiting for. Some of us were not so successful!

Tuesday, 3 March 2015. Stubbington - Day 2. We woke this morning after a 'peaceful' night of rest. We had a couple of tears at bedtime last night but they cleared up quickly and everyone was smiling again by the morning. After a filling breakfast, it was time for a bedroom inspection. Every day, Mr Scarborough and his team will check that we have made our beds, folded our clothes and cleaned our bathrooms of clutter - they are very strict! We then set off on our first set of activities. Finally, it was t...

Thursday, 5 March 2015. Stubbington - Day 4. Hide and seek in the dark last night was really fun! We worked in teams to hunt for the adults and collected clues along the way to answer tricky questions. We also went to the hide to watch for badgers. We saw two badgers and a number of foxes, too. The teachers were more excited than the children were - this is the first time Mrs Parsons has seen a badger at Stubbington and she has been eight times before! After lunch, Group A went pond dipping. And the fina...
