I can't remember how I stumbled across this book but the cover caught my eye and the subject matter was right up my alley. I LOVED THIS BOOK! So much so, that I dove right into the next book. Does a second chance at life and love always involve surrender? I have no idea why it took me so long to discover Katie's books but I am looking for the rest of them now. I am so excited about this new series from Melody Carlson! I made a terrible mistake though. At the end of this book, there is a bonus chapter from the second. Book in this series and I read it. It’s a cliffhanger and now I am anxiously waiting for the release of River’s Call. Melody took a variety of interesting subjects and combined them into one fantastic read.
