When you look at the number of hits for each team, it seems like the Yankees should have won easily, but looking beyond the numbers, you see that the Red Sox should have been able to win the game. It was 3 years ago tonight that the Red Sox beat the red birds under red moon (full lunar eclipse) to win their first World Series in 86 years. Happy 3rd anniversary, Red Sox fans! Hmm, if the Series does end in 6 games, I wonder if the game will be over before October is over (at least in the Eastern time zone). That would be a first, for a World Series to last into November.
