Exploits of a Suck-Ass Bike Racer. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Getting Ready For Webster Crit. Rocking and Rolling since I last posted. Did Tuesday Night Worlds and had my best finish - It felt good to be sprinting in the finish and not falling off the back with 3 to go. 24.6 mph and 256 avg. watts. I rode down and back with Tim - I forgot to take any pics - so sorry. It was a small Hub crew - Me, Tim, Kevin and Greg. He hit it just perfect and his leg hit the metal post holding it up - his leg was toast.

Exploits of a Suck-Ass Bike Racer. Monday, December 20, 2010. Good people-Good Times-Cold Weather. It has turned very cold - a lot of ice on the roads. Riding in the cold weather sucks. I joined Club Fitness to start my Chris Mileski workout from last year. My goal has been three times a week, but so far, I'm at a regular two. I forgot how much I hate lunges! I've also been pretty irregular on the trainer! I so hate the trainer! We had a blast and I was pacing myself just fine until Ron bought the shots!

The whole world is in a mode of destruction. I abandonned my hopes for the state road race, knowing I could not close the deal given my condition. If they didn't catch within a half lap I would have renewed a steady pace, but they did and I settled into the field while Devin and Mark handled the breaks and the pace for roughly the next 10 laps. Can't argue with a 1 lb. burger, Onion rings and a couple of beers and still get change back.
