Although he wasn't as grumpy as we expected, he did fall asleep on the sofa this evening so the experience obviously tired him out! Daniel's behaviour has improved this weekend, and he was particularly good yesterday - despite spending much of the day with him, we didn't have an argument, which is a good sign! Following the adventures of baby Daniel through pregnancy and beyond. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Daniel's potty training has been going so well all week, so it was disappointing to hear that at Grandma's today he had so many accidents he'd run out of trousers! Apparently he did go to the toilet, but wet himself first, and whenever he was asked if he wanted the potty he said "no". When I came to pick Daniel up, he was wearing just pants, and all of his trousers were drying on the line. A mixed potty weekend.

Following the adventures of baby Daniel through pregnancy and beyond. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Potty training day 3: three changes. The potty training continues and today wasn't quite as successful as yesterday, with 3 changes of underwear being required. On one occasion, he walked up to Louise and said "my trousers have wee in them". Otherwise, he's still been using the potty and this evening he told me "I'm going to the potty", pulled down his pants and sat on it without any further prompting.

Daniel has recently developed a liking for the Gruffalo books, and asks for them every night for his bedtime story. He now knows the story pretty much word-for-word, and will shout out the words as they are read. He gets particularly excited when I pretend he has purple prickles all over his back!
