Keeping Up: Interlude: Bible Study Types
http://thebookbeast.blogspot.com/2013/08/interlude-bible-study-types.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. Interlude: Bible Study Types. Since I'm doing a "Bible study" here on my blog, I decided to revise and repost this one from several years ago. Starting from my years in Sunday school, up through teenagerhood and adulthood in Bible studies, I've spent a fair amount of time in church small groups. That’s when I gave up. Like the Dominator, always has something to say. But her point always comes back around to whatever her pet cause is. Alert Bible study members can turn a Soapboxer...

Keeping Up: Bible Study, Introduction
http://thebookbeast.blogspot.com/2013/07/bible-study-introduction.html
Saturday, July 20, 2013. Bible Study, Introduction. I'm the worst Bible Study person ever. I never fill out my book, I quibble with the answers, and I usually decide I'm bored halfway through. the first chapter. Part of the problem is that I've had to spend way too much time in books like Romans and Galatians. Both are very good books, but not exactly stimulating to the imagination. I realized recently that I haven't spent nearly enough time in books like Judith . What in the heck are you talking about?

Keeping Up: July 2012
http://thebookbeast.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. I recently got some new clothes, and recently lost some old weight, and today decided to put the two together into a blog post. How often are there pictures of just me on my own blog? Well, I didn't manage it this time, either, since I included a picture of Daphne at the end. That's not something I regret, though. Anyway, on to pictures of (mostly) me. New jacket, new shirt, new van behind me. The tree we've had for a while. It's fun to feel like you look cool. So is the pose!
