http://knittingnancyexhibition.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Nancy thought she was the only one who loved to knit but then she met some Brown Owls and together they knitted and crocheted a host of woolen treats.". After 2 successful exhibitions as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Knitting Nancy is back for a 3rd time in 2013 with Knitting Nancy's Aviary. Knitting Nancy is an ever changing group of artisans who gather their knitting and crochet skills together to create exhibitions of textile wonderment in the fair city of Adelaide, Australia. http://flyingzebradesigns.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. I had to buy some more fabric for printing yesterday. I think it had a pretty good Sunday:. Sitting in a shady spot. Turned into leaf prints. Saturday, January 30, 2010. I’ve been itching to print lately and finally I’ve been able to have a scratch. The only problem is, my flat has been completely taken over by penguins. Penguins on trying to hide in patterns,. Penguins lazing about on the kitchen floor,. Lurking all about the place. Not too bad for a Saturday morning! While I h...

flying zebra: Autumn Quilts
http://flyingzebradesigns.blogspot.com/2010/05/autumn-quilts.html
Thursday, May 6, 2010. I am still alive, its been just very quiet on the creative front. But I have finally finished my nan's birthday quilt. Her birthday was, er, in December, and I only finished it about a week ago. Anyway, here it is, finally:. This little cot quilt was made using a moda charm pack and took about 5 minutes to make! Ok, I lie, it took about an hour to make the quilt top but that's still pretty quick. It felt like cheating. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sunday, October 11, 2009. I also use them for travelling, and if I were more organized I’d keep hosiery in one and wouldn't have a hole somewhere in each pair. So I decided to make some more. I like it when things are simple and useful. What do you think of them? See, pretties on the back too! October 17, 2009 at 3:00 PM. These are lovely great job! Im so impressed with your printing, I really love the birds. Id love to have the artistic talent and know how to print my own fabric! View my complete profile.

flying zebra: October 2009
http://flyingzebradesigns.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 16, 2009. I have to admit defeat. There is too much going on for me this October to post often enough for Blogtoberfest. One of the more exciting goings on is that I am moving house! It's been a very spur of the moment decision so I have a lot to organise. It also means that I probably won't be able to access the interwebs from home for a while, so if you don't hear from me, you know why! Monday, October 12, 2009. Sunday, October 11, 2009. See, pretties on the back too! Went too and Linda.

flying zebra: Half finished items
http://flyingzebradesigns.blogspot.com/2010/01/half-finished-items.html
Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Hope you had a great Australia Day! We celebrated traditionally, with a barbeque followed by pavlova. Yum! While I haven’t wanted to do the quilting, I have felt like sewing a lot lately. I’ve used the scraps to make a baby quilt top:. And another UFO (I still have to sew on half the binding), a potholder:. This is also my first quilting using a walking foot that I’ve been lent. It makes things a lot easier! flying zebra: September 2009
http://flyingzebradesigns.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. I've been away for a few days - it was wonderful. I've been in the Grampians - did you guess? I'm refreshed and inspired for a long weekend full of creating! Monday, September 21, 2009. Putting patterns on fabric. Or at least trying to! This is what I did on Sunday. I wanted to spend this weekend screen printing, but I hadn't collected everything I need for it, so I had to make do with alternatives. My first few attempts were pretty awful. I'm sharing anyway. We learnt how ...
